about me
Hello. My name is Renato Zechetto, and I am a multimedia artist since 2006, with expertise in Illustration (traditional & digital), Sequential Arts (story board, animation & comics), and Fine Arts.I work with creative and narrative content in general. Commercially I have done some Illustrations and Arts for final products like books, animations and games; as well and mainly doing pre-production stages jobs such as Story Boards, Animatics, Concept Arts, etc. Mostly for advertising, publishing, and cinema / audiovisual productions.I made my first Game as Game Designer Junior, and all its visual arts, music and SFX (because of lack of human resources and budget) between 2023 & 2024. It's not perfect, but it is a really great first game, for sure!About my goals and me:* Working with Original Content, Creators and Authors with Illustrations, Characters & Concepts, Visual Identity, and Narrative Art, is commercially my main goal - no matter which is the Media they are producing.* Making Art for people, be it a Traditional Painting for their homes, a Digital Portrait for their loved ones, or any Fan Art & Artwork for their Personal Projects, is something welcomed, an honor, and a pleasure.* Multimedia and Interdisciplinary Arts is something I love and want to make more and more. I'm eager to find other Creators and Authors to make something good!* I love Narrative Content at all, be it on Writing, Comics, Animation, Web & Animated Comics, Games ; or just a Storytelling by the campfire below a starlit sky ; perhaps resting on the lap of a loved one in a cozy place.* My main expertise is both Drawing and Painting, be it Traditional or Digital; Characters or Environments; Props Schematics or Crazy Stuff.* I have so much luck to known and be in contact with amazing artists in my path - tutors and friends - since youth.* Fine Arts is my natural habitat and my early root; it's about where I came from and my family. I was born in a family with fine artists, and I have a close relationship with Art since a toddler.* Music composition (including DAW softwares) and music theory is a plus and a personal need aside from a hobby. It is an interest of mine; something I do have knowledge and have been learning since young either; yet not at the same pace or professionally acting on the field.* I'm a very keen general sciences' enthusiast, and had tried a lot of different things yet not deeply (and sometimes blatantly failed), such as : coding my stuff on internet; learning by my self ancient languages and linguistics; chemistry and exploding things on high school extra classes; sacred geometry of course; engineering stupid inventions that I would never be able to build; etc.. I'm always open to hear and learn about things that are Science and Art simultaneously, but not understood as Art in modern times. Kinda DaVinci complex.What brings to something very present in my life : I LOVE Sci-Fi, Fantasy and the Fantastic as content. Not limited to mainstream or stereotypes - and not just these genres are beloved by me.
